Charles started learning to sing in the UK under the tutelage of Mark Hayden (17 Oct 1928-Feb 2009). Charles says, "At 16, I felt I sang like an in-tune chainsaw."
For 20 years, Charles trained every week under Mark's keen ear and watchful eye. He spent an additional 5 years observing how Mark taught used psychology and body-centered suggestions to move a voice forward.
Charles is part of a group of excited teachers around the world who regularly exchange ideas, information, and triumphs on the subject of the voice.
